These photos were taken with a Philips ESP-80 Digicam mounted on a conventional photographic tripod and arranged to look into the eyepiece lens of an 8" f/8.25 Newtonian telescope on a Dobsonian mount. This is a very tricky arrangement to set up because of the close positioning of the camera lens to the eyepiece and the necessity to frequently reposition the telescope (not driven) to keep the image in the field of view. Plans are afoot to mount the camera directly onto the telescope tube which will greatly alleviate this tiresome problem.

Note: Being astronomical photos they are 'upside down' with respect to conventionial photographs.
